My Gifts

I was given two gifts of love
Sent to me from heaven above
One a daughter
The other a son
Two separate lives
Three hearts as one
From infants to toddlers
From preschool to teen
These children I've watched
Their lives I have seen
Soon they will be
Gifts to another
But forever I'll always
Be their mother
